IDD "Kerber-T" meets the requirements for technical means of ensuring the security of transport infrastructure facilities, regulated by the documents: No. 16/UNTR/1-2258 of 03.07.2013, No. 16/UNTR/1-3827 of 15.12.2010 with Supplement No. 16/UNTR/1-758 of 24.02.2014, for the category of technical means – portable detectors of vapors and traces of explosives.

IDD "Kerber-T" as a technical means of detecting and identifying explosives has a sensitivity that allows you to determine the presence of the following explosives and their components: nitroamines (rdx, octogen, tetryl), nitroesters (nitroglycerin, ethylene glycol dinitrate, TEN), nitroaromatic compounds (tnt, dinitrotoluene), organic peroxide compounds (acetone peroxide, GMTD), inorganic nitrates (ammonia, potassium and sodium nitrate), as well as mixed explosives based on them.

Application areas:

  • survey of territories and objects by environmental control services;

  • control of the content of harmful substances in the air of the working area;

  • inspection of goods, vehicles and people during customs control (inspection);

  • search of suspects by law enforcement agencies;

  • inspection of postal items, etc.

The detector can be used in the survey of territories, premises, mobile objects and cargo at customs and border control, in forensic laboratories of various departments, analytical laboratories of industrial enterprises and research institutions.

During the period of test operation, it was found that the methods of detection and analysis used in the devices effectively cope with the determination of a wide range of substances (the library of identifiable substances (in liquid, free-flowing and gaseous states) includes about 15,000 items).The analysis of substances takes less than 15 seconds, and the results do not require additional interpretation. With the help of the devices, the Security Service employees suppressed a number of attempts to bring alcohol-containing liquids into the museum under the guise of soft drinks, as well as other objects prohibited for carrying.

According to the results of test operation, we consider it expedient to include the ChemExpert-T and Kerber-T devices in the plan procurement of technical means to ensure the security of the Tretyakov Gallery.
